Perfect album that's on a really awesome new anny pressing. Sound is incredible, zero problems!
Run Out Groove has truly amazed me once more. There's hardly any surface noise at all. The dynamics are so spacious, like you're in a grand chapel. The instrument separation is just spot on. I absolutely love how the keyboard takes center stage when it kicks in, it's so intense. There's so much detail that I've never noticed before, it's like hearing it for the first time all over again.
Is there anything left to say about this album? 5/5 Absolute masterpiece
Absolutely no surface noise, no problems here with this copy. It sounds fantastic.
The album begins with the chilling intro "Machine screw". This is followed by gloomy black metal that gives you goosebumps. Peter Steele's voice dominates here, as does his distinctive bass. I'd particularly like to highlight the three tracks "Christian woman", "Black No. 1" and "We hate everyone". "Black No. 1" has particularly gripped me. But it's not just the longer tracks that convince, but also the short interludes "Fay wray come out and play", "Dark side of the womb" and "3.0.I.F.", as well as the punky and provocative "Kill all the white people". These songs really create a dark atmosphere. The lyrics are also noteworthy, dealing with themes such as suicide ("Bloody kisses (a death in the family)") and broken friendships ("Too late: Frozen" and "Blood & fire"). A small tip: This record is best listened to on rainy days or in autumn, as it will definitely have an even more intense effect then.
