  Incredible, I can't stop playing this album! As someone in their late 30's who's all about new wave, punk, industrial, krautrock, and electronics, I never imagined I'd be so into a 2000s pop sensation like Rihanna. But "Anti" is just fantastic! It's so calming and dreamy, with a surprising mix of styles throughout. The rap/hip hop bits are mostly just in "Consideration" and the massive hit "Work", which is amazing, by the way, and would've been even better without that unnecessary and tone-deaf Drake. The rest of the tracks are filled with smooth and alluring electronics, providing the perfect backdrop for Rihanna's vocals. Standout tracks include "Kiss It Better", "Needed Me", "Desperado", "Love On The Brain", and the fantastic cover of Australian indie band Tame Impala's "Same Ol' Mistakes".

  Audio quality is fantastic, minimal surface noise, disc 1 has a tiny bit of warping but it doesn't impact playback. The packaging is a total hassle for those who use outer sleeves. The braille dots make it stick to the sleeve when you're trying to pull it out or slide it in. My workaround is to keep the records in their inner sleeves at the back of the outer sleeve, behind the jacket, so I don't have to remove the jacket each time.

  Not certain if it's my (unofficial rollin recs) copy, but the opening track on each side skips at the beginning since it's pressed near the edge. The sound quality is a tad different from the official version, but not enough to make it sound bad. Happy to have it in my collection!

• Bootleg's Back Cover Flaws

  This isn't a terrible bootleg, honestly. But the back cover of the sleeve isn't the best, in my opinion, 'cause it's got some yellow spots. I'd love if they'd just repress the whole album so I wouldn't have nothin' to complain about, since it's a bootleg anyways.

  Just missed the merch store release (by 4 hours), but while I was grabbing some groceries at Target, I spotted three copies of Anti. I was shocked to see them!
