Incredible audio quality right from the start. Bass clarity is absolutely TOP tier. Might be a tad softer than others, perhaps because of the length of each track. For DJs, the original, unaltered album spread across two discs would be just perfect.
Incredible! I never imagined I'd adore a contemporary "pop" album, but this one truly excels in every aspect. Fantastic, heartfelt, expertly produced and arranged tracks, with flawless vocals. (Not a trace of autotune or any other tricks to be found) From the groovy & fun "Ooh la la", to the Janet Jackson-like "Soul Control", to the rich melodies and strings of "Step into my life", & the Jam & Lewis feel on "Read my Lips", this album is an absolute knockout after another. Not a single weak track on the whole LP in my opinion! (This is the kind of album Madonna ought to be creating nowadays, but alas, she isn't....) How about a re-issue split over 2 discs, at 45RPM? This album is worthy of that kind of treatment.
I'm not certain about the type of tape used here, but it played incredibly well on my old Aiwa cassette player! The sound was really full and lively, with no signs of distortion or background noise.
Side one's got loads of crackles and skips, while side two's flawless, so it's anyone's guess what quality you'll get. The vinyl's even poked through the sleeve's top, but there's no use contacting the seller since it's such a rare find. I ended up with 0084 out of a thousand.
The audio quality is quite muffled and there are numerous crackles. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
