Just a heads up before my new one gets here, thought I'd let folks know, I got a dodgy disc with like 4 seconds of quiet in the middle of 'Heart Attack', so just a warning!
Awesome album, good sound range, but I've noticed quite a few pops and clicks during my first play without giving it a clean, more than I'd anticipate from a brand new vinyl. I'm using a Technics 1200 MK7 with an Ortofon Concorde Music Blue. I'll make sure to clean it before I give it another spin.
The pressing is fantastic, with no surface noise and the bass really hits hard. The packaging is top-notch too, featuring a sweet gatefold and printed sleeves that make it feel more high-end than the original release.
The initial part of side A has a lot of jumps and skips but other than that it sounds really good
This pressing is fantastic, no surface noise, no pops or cracks, and the sound is incredible. The only thing I'd change is I'd love for the record to be gatefold and match the quality of Psychodrama, but it's definitely worth buying.
