This vinyl version is pretty good, but it definitely needed a thorough cleaning right after taking it out of the sleeve; seems like that's the case with most of them these days, particularly the gz or optimal ones... not entirely sure where the mastering for this one came from... the CD with the bonus Vocal Tracks and studio stuff really outshines this vinyl in terms of sound quality... still on the hunt for an original red DSM cover that won't cost me an arm and a leg... it's a classic album, just like it was when it first came out, but I do miss those outtakes and vocal tracks (they're absolutely hilarious and pretty wild for that time)... four stars for this vinyl release, five stars for the CD with the extra tracks...

Great recording for its age. You can hear every little sound, even the mumbles from the players during the songs. Fantastic vinyl pressing, no issues, quiet and smooth.
