Mine's flawless - not a peep of surface noise and no bending. Fantastic record, even gets those who aren't into jazz moving their feet!
Sound-wise, it's great. However, the design seems more suited for a fruit bowl. Quality control either has their eyes shut or they're just not paying attention. I sent it back and am hoping the next one will be an improvement.
Fred, you're absolutely amazing. Yet another fantastic release from Sam records. I just can't get enough of these albums, and this Lester Young record with the bonus 10” is no different. It's flawless in every way. The music is incredible, and the pressing is top-notch. I'm over the moon with this one.
Gorgeous album, perfectly pressed, no hissing. Every instrument is incredibly dynamic and full of life. Absolutely thrilled with this one!
There's a repress dropping (2000 copies) that doesn't include the 10". They said shipping would start after February 17th, 2023... then it got pushed to April... then May 12th... then August... and now it's September.
