The PVC sleeve is absolutely terrible! It arrived with a crack. Plus, there's some black staining on the record.
Like many have mentioned, the packaging's pretty awful, but the music? Pure Babymetal! There's some great tracks here. I caught their live show in Leeds not long ago, and they were absolutely incredible! Pro tip: flip it upside down to sort out those bent corners and whatnot.
I have the U.S. Light & Darkness edition, though it's not listed on Discogs. The main distinction is that it features an alternative cover with Su and Moa, alongside the original artwork.
The sound quality on this is incredibly crisp and perfectly balanced. Absolute ear candy! Don't be deterred by the packaging for even a moment. Just slip the album into a sleeve and insert a piece of cardboard or any mailer divider behind it. 🤜🤛 Works like a charm on picture discs and anything else encased in these flimsy plastic sleeves.
Absolutely despise the plastic cover!!! But the sound quality is pretty decent overall.
