Being my first vinyl experience with this album, I'm unable to make comparisons, but this version feels a bit lifeless and overly squashed. The tracks handled by Takeshi Ueda and Tue Madsen do shine a bit more, but generally, the guitars are a bit of a mess and it lacks punch. Still a fantastic album, though, and now I'm just hoping they put out a pressing with that sweet Japanese limited edition artwork.
My version came with a tee, identical to the one on the cover.
I prefer the Japanese release with γ·γ³γ³γγΌγ·γ§γ³. Region locked exclusives are the worst.
Amazing album, but it's been spoiled by a poor quality pressing. This version sounds terrible - really flat and squashed. I've heard the 2017 reissue in red has the same problem.
This album is fantastic, nearly every track is a hit. The audio quality is solid, but I wish it was a bit crisper. It's not terrible, but it's somewhat disappointing. Particularly on 'From dusk till dawn', where there's a lot of high notes.
