Great re-release. I own the original vinyl of this live performance. This one's really good. The main difference is that in this version, the audience noise is turned way down. Despite being over 50 years old, you can hear all the sounds clearly. It's a bit on the expensive side but if you're a fan of this show by CB, you'll be happy with it. The heavy vinyl plays smoothly and evenly.
I absolutely adore this album! What's amusing is that my favorite track is one I can sing along to, My Ding-a-Ling. Berry has such an amazing connection with the audience. It's so contagious!

I used to own the original Canadian version, but it's long gone now. This is Chuck Berry, and if you've ever seen him live, you know he was the ultimate entertainer—everyone in the audience sang along at the top of their lungs! This reissue is fantastic, and even though I don't remember the original, the music is amazing and the vinyl is super quiet. If you've never listened to Chuck, you've got to check out side 2—the crowd didn't even want to leave for Pink Floyd after his set! Trust me, who needs Pink Floyd after Chuck? I sure don't!
