Apart from some tracks having massive bass, this release is TOP-NOTCH, a definite must-own
Bloody brilliant ….blah blah blah. Just grab it blah and more blah
This is an incredible sounding pressing of one of my all-time favorite albums. I don't own either of the represses to make a comparison, as I was after an original copy, but I have to say it sounds phenomenal. The vinyl is perfectly flat with great dynamics and a presence that really fills the room. It's like Phil is right there with you, singing and playing his guitar. My only tiny gripe is why the cover has a different color than usual, it's much bluer than the CD version but that's just a small detail. All in all, this is a flawless album and an awesome sounding vinyl to match, so if you have the cash, go for an original!
The sound quality of these records is fantastic, and the packaging is absolutely stunning! I just wish the fold was horizontal instead of vertical. There's a big poster with the lyrics and a smaller one included, both of which are really cool. The only downside is that the inner sleeves feel cheap and flimsy.
This press truly brings out the amazing sound of the album! The stunning and emotionally powerful music was perfectly captured in this release and its packaging. It's definitely one of my top picks in my collection.
