Released on 5 February 2013, this album is the second part of a double album, complementing its predecessor, The Afterman: Ascension. • Stunning Album, Minor Playback Issue

This album is absolutely stunning! Every piece of artwork, including the inner sleeve, is gorgeous. The LP disc feels quite light. My record player has an automatic stop feature that seems to cut off side 1 too early during the last track (Gravity's Union), which is a letdown. I think it's because the grooves get so close to the center of the record. I haven't had any issues with this feature on any of my other records, though. As for the music, how could you possibly go wrong? I'm in love with every song on this album, with maybe the least favorite being Dark Side of Me. Side 1 is probably my favorite side of any Coheed LP. This album is truly amazing. And this LP is a fantastic display piece. I'm not sure if I can recommend it for listening as much as a standard 180 gram vinyl, though. But I'm not disappointed, though.

This album is absolutely stunning! Every piece of artwork is gorgeous, including the inner sleeve. The LP disc itself is surprisingly light. My record player has an automatic stop feature that seems to kick in too early during the last track on side 1 (Gravity's Union), which is a bummer. I think it's because the grooves are so close to the center of the record. I haven't had any issues with this feature on any of my other records, though. As for the music, how could you possibly go wrong with this? I'm in love with every song on this album, with maybe the least impressive one being Dark Side of Me. Side 1 is probably my favorite side of any Coheed LP. This album is truly amazing. And this LP makes for a fantastic display piece. However, I'm not sure I can wholeheartedly recommend it for listening purposes as much as a standard 180 gram vinyl. But hey, I'm not disappointed overall.
