I'm thrilled to have this, it sounds amazing, but this record needs a EQ to sound fantastic.
Awesome sounding record. Plus, it's my all-time fav Coheed album.
The guitar and vocal sounds are absolutely amazing, but I noticed the bass and kick drum are a tad too low in the mix. It's not terrible, just lacks a bit of punch it could have. All in all, though, it's a top-notch pressing.
Wondering if anyone's had a chance to compare this MOV pressing with the new reissue? Is it the same cut or a different mastering job?
The audio quality on this vinyl is just amazing! I'm not too keen on the shiny cover (I'd prefer a matte one) but other than that, I'm truly impressed with this re-release. I've been holding out for years for this album to come out on vinyl at a reasonable price, and this version totally blew my expectations out of the water!
