Absolutely incredible sounding album. I just wish they'd recorded every one of them like this
the (mono) coat also had AS-9149 (stereo) packed inside, featuring Impulse!/abc branding in a rainbow-colored box
The vinyl is completely quiet but has a couple of pops and a small scratch on the first side that you can hear and it's a bit irritating. Still, it's an awesome album overall
Just a query. I've got a pristine, flawless NM version of this release, but on side B1, there's some slight distortion during playback.....only on B1. Has anyone else who owns this same release experienced this? I'm trying to figure out if it's an issue with my copy or if it's a recording, mastering, or pressing fault. Thanks.
Side A of this record is quite peaceful, but side B has some noticeable imperfections in the pressing. There are some clicks scattered throughout B1 and quite a few at the start of B2. Towards the end of B2, there are some louder, repeated pops, and a brief drop in sound quality in the final moments (though this is an issue with the recording itself, not this particular release).
