Product description

"Megadeth's third studio album, So Far, So Good...So What!, unleashed on January 19, 1988, under Capitol Records, is a thrashing, speedy ride through the world of heavy metal. Clocking in at just over 34 minutes, this album is a relentless display of Megadeth's signature sound, blending thrash metal with speed and heavy metal elements. Tracks like 'Into The Lungs Of Hell' and 'Set The World Afire' showcase the band's aggressive and technical prowess, while covers like 'Anarchy In The U.K.' and '502' add a touch of punk energy. Recorded at Music Grinder in Los Angeles, this album is a testament to Megadeth's ability to craft fast, furious, and unforgettable metal anthems."

How do we keep reviews authentic?

Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Poor Sound, Cheap Price

Sound quality is really bad, it's weak and full of noise. But, hey, at least it wasn't expensive.

OMG!! This album is UNREAL!! WHAT A TRIP!! That's all I got!!! LIVE 4 IT! Dave is a beast here!! COMPLETELY CRAZY THRASH!! DAVE U R THA GREATEST !!

  • Underwater Sound Quality

    2 out of 5 stars
    Uqzjohcad97January 8, 2026United States🇺🇸

This pressing is pretty rubbish, much like the Brazilian version of "The Killing is My Business." It's got a tiny bit of kick, but not much. Sounds like it's underwater. 4/10

  • UK Pressing Superior Sound

    3 out of 5 stars
    ResinatHuy12846January 8, 2026United States🇺🇸

As a picture disc, it's decent quality but it's got the, in my view, weaker 2004 remix. I picked this up at a second-hand record shop for a bargain price, just to own the album. Later, I found this version https://www.discogs.com/Megadeth-So-Far-So-Good-So-What/release/1064801, an original UK pressing that's pretty affordable. Obviously, it has the 1988 original mix and the sound quality is amazing.
