This album feels a bit strange to me, both in its lyrics and the way it's played. It doesn't quite sound like a typical Ozzy Osbourne record, which is a bit unsettling. I'd say it's decent, but there's something not quite right about it. The production and engineering are solid, though, and they're up to snuff for a metal album.
Ozzy's discography runs deep, but this album still holds up as a solid listen.
I'm puzzled as to why this album isn't getting more attention. It's by far the heaviest Oz has ever been, yet he's kept his signature catchy melodies and powerful lyrics intact. The vinyl quality is out of this world. It sits perfectly flat, the bass is sharp, and you only need to turn it up to 3/4 volume to get a rich, full sound.
As of this day, 03/08/2025, you can still snag these on Amazon. No need to fork over flipper prices, trust me ♥️
The vinyl records are fantastic, both in sound and appearance. The discs are perfectly flat and incredibly quiet, with a bass that's truly impressive. Overall, I'm thrilled with the purchase, except for the cheap paper inners that needed replacing.
