My version seems to work just fine, no sound problems here! I'd say it's on the lighter side, it feels a bit on the light weight! But I'm pleased with it!
In my view, this album didn't deserve a vinyl pressing. Just one standout track here, and I'm sure you know which one. Not among Prince's best work overall. For his peak performances, stick to his releases from 1980 to 1990.
Purple vinyl looks real nice. But man, there's a TON of surface noise, even after I gave it a good clean. Soundstage ain't bad, but that crackling's a real nuisance. Tried movin' it to a MoFi sleeve too. Oh well, I guess.
This vinyl reissue from 2023 has a superior sound quality compared to the 2019 version.
