Perfect all around. The 2LP mastering is definitely better than the CD/Hi-Res streaming master. It sounds way more musical and real. Highly recommended!
Mark Knopfler is simply, a guitar genius! A musiciansโ musician. The way he extenuates notes is instantly recognizable. Easily one of the top 5 guitar players in the world. As expressed in other reviews, the production is exemplary and this pressing is just that. Highly recommended!
The music is mature and outstanding after all. Iโve had a several approaches to this album and finally got the point. Now I just enjoy this music with the glass of wine at the evening.Sound quality is exceptional - the record and the mastering made with care. Pressing quality is so-so (it's GZ...) - constant background noise, some hiss sounds in the end of A3. Beautiful packaging and the colour of the vinyl.
Mr Knopfler is really back on form , songs are really strong , production is first rate , along with mastering by Bob Ludwig.I had some trepidation when I saw the label ' Made in Czech Republic' like many I've had some poor pressings out of GZ. But no issues on this , even has poly lined inner sleeves ๐๐
