Alright, this album is quite the mind-bending experience, with field recordings and free-flowing improv sax and all. But hey, it's got ”Zombizar” on it. This could very well be the ultimate pop/jazz/psychedelic/beat track ever made. Just grab it. Even if it's the only song you end up loving, it's still a steal for how incredibly f*cking amazing it is. Just grab it. Believe me.
Absolutely amazing re-release! The audio quality is superb, and the gatefold and booklet are stunning. Outstanding work!
I gotta say, this isn't entirely my usual cup of tea. A lot of the tracks are a bit too wild and complex for my taste. But wow, what a diverse album! There are parts where you might think “alright, that's enough now”, but it's genuinely beautiful, and the blend of sounds and soundscapes is amazing. It's not for everyone, I'm still on the fence, but it's definitely worth giving a listen.
Absolutely stunning reissue, complete with OBI and an amazing booklet! The sound quality is crystal clear and deeply rich. Kudos to the label: outstanding work indeed!
