  • Kirk's Jazz Drum and Bass Brilliance

    5 out of 5 stars
    xapgvenocJanuary 2, 2026United Kingdom🇬🇧

This album stands out as my top Drum and Bass favorite, not just because of the brilliant drum work, but also the careful production choices. It's not like other D&B records that are just a bunch of dance tunes drowned in heavy bass. The tempo and vibe shift throughout. Take Aleph 1, for instance; it's all about that intricate, engaging rhythm with those squiggly, acidic bleeps layered on top. I came across an interview mentioning that KJZ stands for Kirk's Jazz, a nod to Kirk De Giorgio and his vinyl collection.

  • Frozen Electronic Expedition

    5 out of 5 stars

A chilly, icy expedition through electronic desolation and stiff beat patterns, where technology appears to have triumphed over human touch. In short, an unforgettable adventure.

  • Unique Beats, Sultry Vibes

    3 out of 5 stars
    DaoyakYogOctober 18, 2025United States🇺🇸

Groovy, out-of-this-world beats that feel quite unique when stacked up against other drum'n'bass artists out there. A captivating, rather sultry album that's only slightly marred by a couple of weaker tracks. Not the most frequently spun album in my collection, but it's definitely a go-to for those laid-back moments.

  • Timeless Electronic Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    62-Oqdf-HoyiJuly 12, 2025United States🇺🇸

Incredible and enchanting sonic adventure! Not just for dnb/jungle enthusiasts. Every track is flawless and complete, making it impossible to pick a favorite. This is one of the most captivating musical pieces I've ever heard. First experienced it on CD in '99 and it's still just as enjoyable after all these years! A must-hear electronic album, trust me.

  • Electronica Masterpiece

Maybe the most important electronica record of the past 30 years. A true masterpiece. The CD sounds absolutly awsome.
