  • Sturdy, Clear, Worth It

    4 out of 5 stars

Fantastic cover - sturdy card, top-notch print. Looks brand new even after over 40 years. The pressing is level, quiet, and full of energy. Like some Japanese pressings, the bass is a tad weak, which might make it sound a bit bright overall, depending on your system and some of those usual prog synth parts. A slight adjustment to the treble and bass should fix that. Other than that, great soundstage, clear, no noise. Definitely worth purchasing.

  • Weird Album Pressing Issues

    Xohunod-MawidhSeptember 9, 2024United States🇺🇸

Holy crap! This is a super weird pressing of this album! First off, there's no labels saying it's a 'promo copy' and there's gaps between the songs where there shouldn't be. Really bizarre! I hope anyone who has this knows it's not supposed to be like this.

  • Agree, Sounds Amazing

I concur with the prior comment. I just got a fantastic item. Once I cleaned it up, it truly sounds amazing. The mastering on this press is incredibly rich. I'm really loving it.

About The Moody Blues

The Moody Blues, hailing from Birmingham, England, are a legendary rock band that emerged in 1964 and have since left an indelible mark on the music world. Initially rooted in the British beat and R&B scene, the band quickly evolved, embracing the psychedelic and progressive rock movements of the late 1960s. Their groundbreaking second album, "Days of Future Passed," released in 1967, is a seminal work that fused rock with classical music, establishing the Moody Blues as pioneers in art rock and progressive rock. This landmark album is often credited as one of the first successful concept albums, showcasing the band's innovative approach to blending genres.

With a lineup that included Graeme Edge, Mike Pinder, Ray Thomas, Justin Hayward, and John Lodge, the Moody Blues crafted a unique sound characterized by lush Mellotron orchestrations and intricate harmonies. Their discography is a treasure trove of timeless hits, including "Nights in White Satin," "Tuesday Afternoon," and "Your Wildest Dreams." These songs, along with many others, have captivated audiences worldwide, contributing to the band's impressive sales of over 70 million albums.

The Moody Blues' influence extends beyond their music, as they have inspired countless bands and artists. Their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 is a testament to their enduring legacy.
