Lush, crisp, and silent pressing. Fantastic sound quality - no remorse spending extra for this, even if they repress it, it's worth every penny. I seriously question if a repress would sound this incredible.
After years of waiting and passing up chances to grab this at a reasonable cost, I’ve finally got my hands on this incredible box set. It’s every bit as good as people say. The audio is fantastic, David’s performance is top-notch, and the tracklist is spot on. It’s pricey, but if you’re a Pink Floyd or Gilmour fan, I’d truly recommend giving it a shot. It’s not just a great addition to your collection, it’s absolutely brilliant!
Hey, i got a question for y'all. Does anyone happen to know if it was digital recording or if it was all analogue transfer? Any info would be much appreciated!
Back in 2009, I picked up this box set for just 40 euros from a local record store. For vinyl collectors like myself, the years between 2005 and 2016 were absolutely golden. Perhaps even the best time ever. Back then, hardly anyone wanted vinyl records, so you could find them cheap with plenty of copies available…Nowadays, everything's overpriced and there's way too many copies being released, plus the sound quality just isn't what it used to be.
Great concert footage, but for me, the real highlight is David's 'on an island' album, masterfully remixed into 5.1 surround sound by Andy Jackson, which comes as an added bonus.
