Otis Redding's vocal prowess shines brightly on LIVE IN EUROPE. His rendition of "I've Been Loving You Too Long" demonstrates his ability to captivate as a powerful balladeer, while his take on "Satisfaction" is so fast-paced it'd make any thrash band green with envy. This 1967 stereo edition boasts a stellar mix, with crisp, lively horns and rhythm sections, well-captured vocals, a rich low end, and a soundstage that places you right in the heart of the action. My copy has some light surface noise, a couple of louder pops, and a recurring click during most of "Day Tripper", but mercifully, no skips.

I'm not sure if other versions of this album sound as amazing as this one, but wow, I can't believe I got this vinyl for such a bargain. Otis is absolutely incredible here. Yet another musical legend we lost way too early. Definitely worth checking out.
