this album is just pure and classic rock & blues, amazing tunes
Sounds fantastic and is incredibly smooth with hardly any surface noise. The mix and mastering is pretty much flawless and a joy to listen to. I didn't have any static issues after a quick dry clean with a velvet brush and a Swiffer duster.
This is a fantastic version. The packaging is excellent. My copy is slightly less bright than the original, but I've always adored this album and the era of Clapton's career it represents. He and his fellow musicians created some truly amazing music.
Incredible pressing, though it's a real STATIC BOMB. I had to give it a spin before giving it a proper ultrasonic cleaning and such, and wow, it was a static bomb... to the extent that it sent a static discharge all the way to my tube preamp, through the amp, and out the speaker. When I tried to lift the record off the turntable, it stuck like glue... and when I finally pulled it off, you could hear and feel all the static. I then played another record that I had cleaned earlier, and no problems at all.... Seems like they used a dry vinyl that's prone to being a static bomb and needs to be cleaned and cleaned again before playing......otherwise, it sounds fantastic.
Absolutely fantastic! The cover is truly outstanding, and the mastering and pressing are just gorgeous.
