The first two reviews seem way too critical. This pressing sounds pretty good to me. Maybe they got defective copies or something? The mastering here is clearly limited in terms of compression... so yeah, you'll need to crank up the volume a bit... but once you do, it's dynamic and well-balanced. I think it sounds great - but I don't have any other versions to compare it with.
2016's reissue is the serie's worst! Such a shame, as the packaging is pretty neat...
