I suppose I'm among the fortunate ones. This one sounds fantastic, really hushed even prior to giving it a good clean.
Grabbed the repress and this album is truly incredible. I wasn't familiar with it before, but the tracks are phenomenal. Could easily become one of my top picks from Miles.
Absolutely stunning audio quality on this early 90s disc manufactured in Austria. This might just be my all-time favorite CD rendition of this classic!!
Awful. Give this one a miss. There's a constant audible hiss and the high notes are piercing and warped, particularly on side 2. What a pity - it's a stunning album.
I'd say this is pretty decent, though my 1977 Terre Haute copy still takes the cake. That one's got a crisper sound and more energy. Sure, it's great to have a clean copy with this MoFi version, but the mastering could use some tweaks, if you ask me. P.S. To whoever commented, I picked up the TH pressing way back in 2002 and just recently got the MoFi.
