This record is absolutely fantastic, from the recording to the performances, and even the cover art and vinyl quality. It's truly excellent in every aspect.
The album's packaging, from the cover art to the vinyl's heft, is top-notch. The sound quality is solid, if not outstanding. But hey, it's Miles Davis in the '50s, so in my book, that's still top-tier. Perhaps not audiophile-level (and the price tag isn't that either, mind you), but it's a fantastic set of tracks that I keep revisiting time and again.

Absolutely fantastic all around. I held off for a good while after it came out before getting it, as I wasn't quite sure what it was about. So happy I finally got a copy. It's amazing.
Though it came out in the '70s, this is a must-have for any jazz collection. Apart from track 5, it features the same incredible group that played on "Kind of Blue". Just like on "Kind Of Blue", the horns of Coltrane and Adderley are balanced by Bill Evans' piano and Jimmy Cobb's gentle drumming, creating a soft, delicate sound.
