The sound quality and mastering on this record are excellent. The packaging is quite simple and minimal, but that doesn't bother me at all. Interestingly, they've added a brief pause (around 1-2 seconds of quiet) between each song, rather than having them flow seamlessly into one another. This took me by surprise a bit, but overall, it's a fantastic addition to any music collection.
As of July 3rd, 2025, Amazon continues to offer white pressings, following up on Logic’s comment below.
Wow, this vinyl is amazing! The pressing is superb, and the recording quality is outstanding, perfectly capturing Peggy's diverse musical world. It's even better than the digital audio you'd find on streaming platforms, way, way better. I played it using Shure M44-G with an Ecler Nuo 2.0, cranking up the volume on my HD-25 headphones. Absolutely stunning 🤩 The gatefold is breathtaking, making this my top album for 2025, right up there with Muggs' best work!!
Superb quality pressing! Not even a hint of silence between songs, not even 0.00000001 milliseconds! "Take An" is the full (bandcamp) version, not just 35 seconds!
SO HAPPY I FINALLY HAVE THIS in my possession thanks to an insane last-minute grab from a nearby record shop, I can finally share my thoughts. I reckon it's EVEN BETTER than the premium version. The tracks on that are alright but THIS is the real DELUXE deal. The booklet is neat and compact, super easy to browse. The sleeves are FREAKING AWESOME with that sleek 4U logo on 'em (and hey, there's even a bandana pattern inside the sleeves!) and the discs... oh man. They had the white version and it's GORGEOUS. Sounds incredible and it's LOUD.. plus some bandcamp tweaks are on this one (like that epic orchestral ending in the main track and the 2 minute long TAKE AN instrumental.) it's just so good. peggy.. you're the BEST. i'd do ANYTHING for YOU peggy.
