An album you don't come across often. Made while Harrison was island hopping, and specifically hanging out at Hamilton Island in Queensland, I reckon Australia must've sparked his imagination when he went a bit native.
This album's underrated status is downright criminal, it's that good.
I recently bought this used from a local indie shop. It's one of the cleanest records I own - not a single pop or crackle, and the sound quality is fantastic! The production is really well done, except for one thing: "Dream Away" (from the Time Bandits movie) seems like it was recorded in a different studio (it's a great track but lacks the punch of the other songs, sadly - I'd love to hear it remixed to fit better!). All in all, it's a fun, upbeat album (though "Circles" is a bit of a downer, in my opinion, and they should've closed with "Dream Away"), and it gives a taste of what's to come on Cloud Nine.
