I've got this version with a 'Made in Czech Republic' sticker on the reverse, so it might be that one. Plus, it's got XLLP529 165287E2/C instead of XLLP529 165287E2/A on Side B.
I initially assumed Tyler, the Creator, had some issues with gays when he created this pretty outdated album, but there's still a lot to appreciate for the raw energy of a young guy just trying to make wacky, weird, and edgy music. But I can't rate it higher than a 2/5, glad he's matured since then.
Please, for heaven's sake, don't get ripped off by these ridiculously priced editions. I'm absolutely convinced there'll be another printing in just a few months. I can't believe I'm seeing copies going for $250+!
I got two copies of disc two, no side a or b. But it's a great album.
I gotta admit, I was into half of this album... but it's definitely lost in its own world. "my bitch suck dick like she suck dick" - what's one to make of that track? It somehow manages to copy lil b, waka, and wiz and be as bad as expected; yet, no matter how terrible the song is, Tyler's second verse and the beat change is one of the album's standout moments. I'm gonna have a lot more to say about this album later, weird that I wasn't even looking forward to it. "Nightmare" is probably the best track here. Can't forget "Yonkers", "Transylvania", "Tron Cat", and "Golden" either.
