This album is incredible from start to finish. As far as rap albums from 2003 go, it doesn't get much better than this. The mixing is top-notch and not too heavy on the bass. Listening to it on vinyl was a fantastic experience compared to the headphones I've used for years. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dude actually got shot and still managed to drop one of the greatest rap albums ever. On god, I'm so in love with this album, it's so solid. The beats and features are just amazing. 3.5/5
50 truly excels on his first album! Fantastic collection of some of the finest hip-hop from the early 2000s. Given that Dr. Dre contributed to this production, could you ask for anything other than a total smash hit? Even the lesser-known tracks are top-notch. A must-own for any dedicated hip-hop enthusiast. I'm content with this pressing, despite there being a noticeable amount of surface noise and occasional vocal harshness. The 'dead wax' is far from quiet. That said, the mix is flawless; ample bass, vocals upfront, instrumentals crisp and clear. 5 stars for the music, 4 stars for the pressing.
The audio quality on this vinyl is absolutely mind-blowing. The person behind the mixing/mastering/pressing should handle all big record drops. This version is the one to beat
