This album is a strong one from this band. I'm really diggin' "Burnin’ for You" the most. "Pressing" sounds fantastic, as usual, from Columbia.
Grabbed one of these at a nearby vinyl fair, still in its shrink wrap. Might keep it that way for a time and just spin the earlier version I've got.
This is exactly how remasters should be handled. I'm picking up details I've never noticed previously. The blue vinyl is incredibly quiet and, through my setup, the soundstage feels almost lifelike. In my opinion, it's a top-notch 33rpm master.
I've been really getting into BOC lately, they're becoming a guilty pleasure. I only had Agents Of Fortune before but now I've been able to find most of their stuff. They've put out some great albums and this one is a really enjoyable version of one of their best. The sound quality is fantastic and the colored vinyl is a nice extra. It's definitely worth adding to your collection.
Having only listened to this pressing, I'm unable to compare it to the MOV version, but it's absolutely amazing. It's definitely one of the top rock pressings in my collection.
