The press is spotless, yet the sound is rather dull. On this specific release, high frequencies are barely noticeable.

I'm not sure what Discogs or the person who compiled this record is talking about when they mention two different versions? I can't spot or understand what the differences are supposed to be? Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark
This is, for now, the last album with frontman Bruce Dickinson before he takes a two-album break from the band. Here, Iron Maiden shows its political side for the first time with the opening song "Be Quick or Be Dead." This is followed by "From Here to Eternity," the fourth part about the prostitute Charlotte, with the catchy chorus "Hell ain't a bad place / Hell is from here to eternity / Hell ain't a bad place / Hell is from here to eternity." Then, in "Afraid to Shoot Strangers," the theme of war is once again addressed. Notably, Bruce's lyrics are almost whispered rather than sung. What follows are, in my opinion, rather average songs: "Childhood's End," a lament about the cruel world, "Wasting Love," a hopeful song about a better world out there, "Chains of Misery," a song about apparitions, and "Weekend Warrior," a song about hooligans. The album concludes with the excellent "Fear of the Dark," although this song on CD doesn't come close to sounding as good as it does in one of the band's live shows. Final verdict: A rather average album.
Translated automatically,This is an outstanding pressing with incredible detail. I'm not sure who handled the lacquer cutting, but the mixing and mastering are absolutely perfect! It packs more bass punch than the recent Chris Bellman reissues, which are also great. The weight of LP1 is 128g, and LP2 is 130g. Just for comparison, my original US Specialty pressing of "7th Son" weighs 106g, and a European pressing of "No Prayer For The Dying" weighs 114g. I've recently bought several NM-M graded South Korean pressings of European and US albums, each priced over $200, and I haven't been let down yet. Don't hesitate, go for it if this South Korean release is within your budget!
