Chris Bellman (CB) did the edit for the European release. Anyone know who handled this particular pressing?
I bought this version because my first US copy started skipping (and I couldn't figure out why). It sounds fantastic. Funny thing is...compared to the original US version, the colors on the CD and everything look more vivid...the audio quality is about 10% improved overall. Naturally, for a music enthusiast, this is a significant difference. Just keep in mind that your gear will influence how much you notice the "better" sound.
The sound quality of this album is absolutely amazing. The soundstage is top-notch, and it's so effortless to distinguish each instrument. The mastering is superb!
Gave these two platters a spin for the first time. The audio quality is really something. The noise floor is incredibly low. No clue about the sourcing, but it's a hit. Sounds absolutely fantastic on my system.
Excellent packaging, fantastic audio, zero clicks, zero surface noise. Love all my Maiden records.
