This is an incredible pressing! It's super quiet, perfectly flat, and the dynamics are just fantastic. If you're a fan of the Avetts, you gotta have this.
Absolutely stunning presentation, clearly crafted with attention to detail. I'm in love with the blue sea glass vinyl, and the sound quality is amazing. My copy has a flat, quiet, and either crisp, clear audio
Without a doubt, this is an amazing album to kick off your Avett Brothers vinyl journey with.
I'd love for TAB to repress their albums from Emotionalism all the way back to Country Was and Double Door. I managed to snag a copy of one of these for around 40 bucks at a local record shop a few years back. I'd be thrilled to have Four Thieves Gone and The Second Gleam too, but the prices are just way too high.
The tunes are a solid 5 stars, but the EQ could use some work. It's a tad too boosted on the highs and lows, which ends up muddying the midrange. Initially, it sounds alright, but soon you notice the mix lacks depth and soundstage.
