Wow, this pressing is absolutely amazing. Hands down, it's one of the best sounding live albums I own. Maybe even the best ever, considering how clear the recording and mastering are. As an audiophile, I'm blown away. It's like Curtis Mayfield is performing right there in your living room for a small, intimate crowd. I'd choose this over any of his studio albums, and I have every single one of them. It's that phenomenal... even if taste is subjective, of course.
This is absolutely amazing. Even those who don't know Curtis, when I put this on, they enjoy it and can feel the vibe.
After a decade of hunting, I've finally snagged my ultimate live album! I stumbled upon numerous worn-out Canadian copies and nearly settled for the new Rhino release, but I'm sure glad I held out.
This live recording sounds fantastic, with an incredible soundstage.
