Wow, this is absolutely amazing! The packaging is top-notch, no doubt about it. Run Out Groove really deserves a huge shoutout for their awesome work. This is my fourth time buying from them, and every single release has been fantastic. Honestly, their prices under $40 make a lot of those other fancy labels look way too expensive.
I'm truly blessed to have the chance to hear this album in full for the very first time on this format. It's a masterpiece that struck all the right chords with me, an absolutely stunning record indeed! It's definitely going in my all-time collection π―
Excellent pressing, the audio quality is fantastic. Plus, the vinyl is quite heavy too.
Purchased and got this version. Adore the color and those Extra Tracks & Alternate Takes are awesome. Superfly is Mayfield's peak, perfect while Curtis was still finding his footing. But trust me, by then, he was already an amazing songwriter and a truly remarkable leader and pioneer in soul music.
I wasn't sure about the colored vinyl at first. But once I played it, all my doubts disappeared. It sounds incredible, so warm and vibrant. It's way better than streaming it on Spotify, even with my not-so-great speakers. The look is pretty awesome too, the vinyl is a vibrant cherry-red. If you're a fan of this album, you gotta get this.
