Is there an insert included, or does it have a printed inside sleeve?
The soundstage feels less dynamic than the digital counterpart. I've got the Made in Italy pressing. There's a bit of crackle and pop, but the static noise between tracks makes me think it's woven throughout the whole album. The Red vinyl is a fun novelty, but I've yet to hear a novelty pressing that beats the sound quality of the standard black version. It's cool to have this in my physical collection, but I'll still be spinning the digital version.
The audio is incredible! The packaging is fantastic, top-notch quality. The pressing is superb, and the vinyl cut by Mr. Golden is out of this world.
I got a copy in Feb 2022 with a "Made in Germany" label. It was fantastic, except for some awful distortion at the start of side 2. Then, in Oct 2023, I bought another one with the same "Made in Germany" label. AGAIN, it was great, except for that same awful distortion at the beginning of side 2. So, two German copies bought over a year apart both have that crappy distortion at the start of side 2. With this and the supposedly bad Italian copies, I'd suggest avoiding this pressing. The Q/C is just terrible.
After comparing this to my MOV version, I must say, it's absolutely amazing. The soundstage is so much broader, and the kick drum is particularly impressive on this pressing. The Demo/Live side isn't doing much for me, but the Core studio album alone makes this purchase worthwhile for me.
