An excellent album by them, with a fantastic reissue.
Pressing - 5/5 This is pure MOV, top-notch, flat, heavyweight vinyl that's been pressed to perfection. I've always found their quality control to be excellent, and this record is no different. Mastering - 3.5/5 You've got to crank this one up loud with a solid subwoofer to really appreciate it. The lows and mids are spot on. However, the highs can feel a bit washed out. The guitar and bass are awesome, but the vocals can get a tad muddy, and the drums tend to blend into the background. Tracks like Hollywood Bitch and Wonderful, which are more vocal and drum-driven, lack some punch and can feel a bit flat. Still, it sounds pretty decent overall. Plus, like others have noted, my copy cuts off the last second of Coma, which is odd and cost it half a point. Packaging - 4/5 It's not anything extraordinary, but it's not bad either, what you see is what you get. Overall - 4/5 It's a great listen when you turn it up, and this album is seriously underrated. The DeLeo brothers really shine here, with fantastic guitar and bass work. But, in my opinion, the Tiny Music and No. 4 MOV releases are even better.
Cut off at the very end of Coma. Unacceptable. Awesome album, audio quality's decent, but this really messes up the vibe.
An amazing album from them, and the reissue is really good too.
This album is massive & packs a punch, blasting out of the speakers, but when it needs to get trippy, it's faithful & holographic too. Best enjoyed LOUD
