This is a fantastic pressing, incredibly quiet and it sounds amazing. This album is what got me into Cecil Taylor. I own several Blue Note Tone Poets and Classics. This one outshines any of the Classics and matches the Tone Poets.
I stumbled upon this amazing record, and it's in almost perfect condition! The sound quality is fantastic! It's the same copy as the one shown, but on the bottom right of the label, it also says "9/21 sample copy. Not for sale." (In Japanese) So, is this a promotional pressing? I can't seem to find any promo version of this pressing on Discogs.
The pressing was dead silent, the soundstage was a sight to behold. The music is incredible, this band is just captivating.
