Clark Terry, flugelhorn Ensemble put together by Nat Peck Peter Herbolzheimer, leading the group Trumpet master Clark Terry made the flugelhorn a key instrument in jazz. He had a sound that was rich and clear, with amazing skill, and he played with the Ellington and Basie Bands, plus most of the big names over the past 50 years, appearing on over 900 records. Terry also played a crucial role in guiding young talents like Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, and Quincy Jones. In 2010, he was honored with a Grammy for lifetime achievement.
