This pressing delivers an awesome sound quality. The audio is crisp and clear, with minimal surface noise that's barely noticeable even with the loud production. There are a few pops now and then, but they're not a big deal. The packaging, just like the trifold Chromatica vinyl, is absolutely gorgeous. I'm really digging the clear vinyl for this album; it might just be my favorite (or one of my favorites) Gaga pressings out there. While it's a bummer that Babylon (Haus Labs Version) isn't included, the other remixes are pretty fantastic.
Awesome new release! The remixes are fantastic and the vinyl spins so smooth on a HIFI setup.
The sleeve's design is a disaster, the text is impossible to read, and the credits for the remixers, producers, and artists are all mixed up in a chaotic way. The front cover is a mess right from the start, missing both the artist's name and the album title (that's the first warning sign). The back of the CD sleeve looks like someone tried to trace the tracklist using invisible ink, making it completely unreadable. But the inner sleeve's liner notes are even more of a nightmare: the font is so tiny (maybe 2-point?) that you'll need a magnifying glass just to decipher any of it. It seems like the so-called "designers" behind this disaster are "Team Rolfes" (Sam Rolfes & his brother Andy Rolfes), and this was apparently their first attempt at creating liner notes and sleeve artwork for a CD. Let's hope it's also their last!
I'm completely obsessed with this new release! The packaging is fantastic and comes with awesome features, the vinyl is super clear and the sound quality is top-notch. Plus, I'm really digging the alternate version of βPlastic Dollβ remixed by Ashnikko!
This release is an absolute disaster, start to finish. The remixes are terrible, and the artwork is just as bad. It actually ruins the original album for me. I'm just going to act like it doesn't exist. I would've much rather had an album with acoustic or piano versions instead of this mess that makes my ears hurt.
