Every Christmas, you gotta have this one playing. Sounds great too, so it's a must for your yearly holiday spin.
Some folks might find this a tad too subdued for a Christmas album, but I reckon it's absolutely gorgeous. As for the vinyl itself, once the needle hit the record, I couldn't detect a single crackle or pop. It's wonderfully warm, and I'm astonished by the lack of any surface noise. Grab some pigs in blankets, ignite a few candles, and just sprawl out on the couch in quiet with this album. And yes, repeat the experience time and again for years to come.
