It appears Lynott was more into partying than focusing on music, Chinatown feels like a significant step back from Black Rose and often comes across as hurried and careless. That's what you get when you swap Gary Moore for Snowy White, who adds nothing in terms of energy to this album. The demos, as usual, are intriguing, and the overall package is quite appealing, making it a solid addition to any Lizzy collection. I'm giving it an extra star for that.
