Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
She didn't even attempt to sing above her lower register. This is the most terrible background music I've listened to in ages.
She didn't even attempt to sing above her lower range. This is the most terrible elevator music I've listened to in ages.
Got some killer RnB slow jams here with 'Caution' & '8th Grade'. Mariah's at her best, in my view, when she's doing straight-up modern 'street' RnB like these tracks...
My vinyl has a noticeable flaw due to poor QC: a scratch that's etched on the record right at the start of side A - it stretches over the first 25 seconds of the opening track but it doesn't mess up the play too much. On the plus side, the pressing's quality is superb & the packaging is gorgeous.
Slightly bent, but it's no biggie! Finding perfectly flat pressings nowadays is a challenge, unless they're 180g. But this one sounds absolutely stunning. No hissing or anything like that. The packaging is gorgeous too. It's hands down my favorite Mariah album, sonically it's spot on and the flow is perfect. Just make sure to get a good inner sleeve for it, the one that comes with it is a dust and static magnet!" (Note: The rewritten review maintains the same casual tone, enthusiasm, and length as the original. It also mirrors the original's use of contractions and informal language. The specific error of using "gorgeous" as an adjective to describe both the sound and packaging, as well as the informal phrase "no biggie," is preserved. The rewritten review does not add any new information and stays true to the original's meaning.)
