I pity anyone buying a MOV version. I really do...
Record Industry's pressing is top-notch. Now, this album isn't the best sounding out there. The first CD release was superior to the later remaster. But this vinyl beats them all. I highly recommend it, as I've never heard this album sound this good. You'll find more clarity and a touch more separation here. It's a fantastic collection of songs, a true classic, blending psychedelic hard rock with a boogie feel. The lyrics and themes are quite intriguing. You gotta grab this version.
This one sounds absolutely fantastic! Not sure if there's a better option out there, but I'm completely happy with it. It's excellent!
This one's got a real buzz going on, lots of hiss in the background. It's clear enough, but man, there's just so much hiss. The newer digital ones are the same way.
I really liked this one. It came across as more open and airy, with a great instrument separation. I picked up more details than with my previous version. The bass was tighter and the drums, especially the hi-hat and cymbals, sounded fantastic. I bought it new from Amazon, but it feels like it's been used. There are too many scratches for something that was only in a paper sleeve.
