well... Japanese albums aren't really my thing. but this one, I gotta say, it's top-notch. exterior, interior - spot on
Don't have any other experiences to contrast it with. It's well-built, has awesome dynamics, and the sound separation is wide. The vinyl quality is pretty good overall, so if you come across a clean copy, I'd recommend grabbing it.
Though I haven't got any other pressings to match this up with, I've spent almost my whole life immersed in this album across various formats, and I've gotta say, no other listening experience has pulled me in as deeply and completely as the first play of this MoFi version. The standout features are the spatial setting where the musicians perform and the sheer clarity of their sound. This is truly something special.
Absolutely adore this record. Mo-Fi did an amazing job. Miles is always on point. This is becomg my top pick over Kind Of Blue.
Fantastic '74 Japanese pressing of this double album. It's super flat and quiet, with an amazing soundstage and loads of detail.
