Awesome album. Picked it up yesterday at half price from a nearby record store, and I'm really happy with it. Listening to it right now with a glass of whiskey, while my girlfriend js away.
In my opinion, this Isle of Wight performance tops the original studio take on Bitches Brew! The crowd's energy really amped up the band's playing. Jack DeJohnette is an incredible force driving the group. If you're a fan of the studio album, you've got to grab this live version. And hey, don't miss the YouTube clip, it's fantastic too!
Yet another top-notch MOV release that's sure to please. The audio is fantastic, with a quiet, flat pressing, impressive dynamics, and superb live sound quality. It comes with a booklet and a cool Bitches Brew etching on side D. A must-have for any Miles Davis fan!
