Excellent pressing for a flawless album. The stereo soundstage is expansive and full of detail. The bass hits hard yet stays balanced, and the vocals come through crystal clear.
Seems like I've got this one. The record sounds amazing and played flawlessly. The album, well, it's by the King of Pop. Nothing more to add.
I stumbled upon a 1E-G1 version, which I believe is the first pressing, and it's absolutely incredible. When you compare it to the original CD, it's so much richer and more spacious, with each frequency range standing out beautifully.
Absolutely gorgeous sound! I grabbed this because I'd heard amazing things about the first release. The bass on this is just incredible! I couldn't even believe it! I know there were tons of copies pressed, but someday this album will be highly sought after. In the future, all the master tapes will be ruined and crumbled away. And people will finally see that digital music is just disposable junk. And CDs? Well, who even cares about those anymore, right lol
This 4-disc Deluxe Edition of 'Bad 25' is quite impressive, but it has the potential to be EVEN BETTER. Alongside the already included items (the 2 FANTASTIC booklets, 3 CDs, Live DVD, poster, sticker), Sony/Legacy COULD’VE added a CD showcasing ALL of the RARE 12" Extended Mixes of Bad's singles (in my opinion, the Afrojack, Pittbull, and Nero mixes are a waste of space...LOL!). The Bonus Material CD is fantastic, but Sony missed out on including the demo 'Cheater', which was originally recorded during the 'Bad' sessions, and it appeared on MJ's 'Ultimate Collection' box set back in 2004. While I'm happy with this box set, I decided to make it EXTRA SPECIAL by adding the 'Bad:Remixes' CD, plus the 'Moonwalker' & 'Bad Short Films' (only included in exclusive editions of 'Bad 25' sold at Target!) DVDs...they fit PERFECTLY to create a 7 Disc BAD BOX. 5 Stars!
