Holy cow, this freshly remastered vinyl version of “Arise” is fantastic! It's got a sweet, thick gatefold, just like those “Chaos A.D.” and “Roots” vinyl reissues from last year. Plus, there's a bunch of bonus tracks on the second LP that are amazing to have, especially on vinyl. I'm over the moon that I finally own this classic Death/Thrash masterpiece on vinyl.
I'm a fan of the classic Sepultura sound, this album is awesome. I recall the first time I heard it. I believe this is the real Sepultura, the genuine article 🤘🤘🔥💥🇧🇷👍
My vinyl is in great condition, but there's a fair bit of inner groove noise on the final track of each side, making them pretty hard to enjoy. The rest of the tracks sound fantastic, though.
Truly a Masterpiece! The final track with those Thrash riffs is a killer. Just picked up this RC first press edition last weekend. Incredible riffs throughout.
As many have mentioned, this isn't a stellar pressing. It's bogged down by a muddy, cluttered mix that hides a lot of the musical nuances. Instruments that ought to be crisp—like guitars, cymbals, and vocals—are drowned in a fog of midrange murk.
