Album's awesome, but again having trouble with the plant messing up these De La Soul pressings. A.2, C.4 got gunshot cracks. I ducked under my desk, thought it was a drive-by.
I purchased this item brand new, still in its sealed packaging, but both discs were quite grimy straight out of the sleeve. I strongly suggest giving them a good clean before you play them, I can't stress it enough.
Before you spin it, give it a good clean. My copy had some pressing marks, like smudges that wouldn't budge. But after a quick wipe-down, it sounded flawless. This album is fantastic, maybe even better than their last one. A truly awesome De La record, especially after that one I thought was their worst, Mosaic Thump. The track with B-Real, Peer Pressure, is absolutely hilarious. Definitely grab this one.
